Slim fast diet
The Slim Fast diet has been seen on T.V. and was advocated by stars such as Tommy Lasorda. Its success is based on meal replacement shakes and healthy snacks. It has enjoyed a fair amount of success and its products decorate the shelves of most grocery stores. This diet is commonly recommended for severely overweight people.
Like the commercials say, you have a shake in the morning, a shake for lunch, and sensible dinner. People are also encouraged to have slim fast snacks such as candy bars and pudding. The shakes and bars give an individual all of the necessary vitamins and nutrients to be somewhat healthy. Available dinners are pretty liberal, just as long as they are proportionate and not too high in fat content.
The shakes and the snacks taste good so this diet doesn’t seem punitive in nature. Beyond that it is very simple to follow. However, the lack of actual food can be a problem as nothing substitutes for real food. The slim fast diet can also be costly as you do have to buy its products.
